About Me

I am Brazilian but come from an Italian family; in fact, I learned to speak Italian even before learned Portuguese. I can transit between these two languages with great ease. Later on, I learned English at school but mostly by reading books and magazines related to my main interest during my teens, computer programming .

In the 80’s, my first jobs were in software houses, translating games for personal computers to Portuguese. Besides that, being a science fiction aficionado, in 1992 I translated the book “Mr. Scott’s Guide to the Enterprise” (Editora Aleph, São Paulo).

I am an Electronic Engineer since 1990; during all this time I acted in two large companies in a variety of roles, most of them in Product and Marketing of the Semiconductor and Automation segments, always dealing with documents in other languages – mostly English. I also acted as International Technical Operations Manager supporting branches in USA, Mexico, Argentina, Spain and Portugal (also our base for “rest of the world”).
